Renewal arrives on a ground that remembers. It is dark, eroded, worked by time and weather. Above it, a careful arrangement: cinnamon bound with twine, star anise pressed into translucent wax, whole cloves held in a stroke of green. The spices carry an ancient intention, one of protection and prosperity, set down deliberately like an offering on layered burlap and torn paper. The palette breathes with the colors of early spring — sage, amber, warm earth — lighter than what came before, but rooted in the same ground. Something difficult has been acknowledged. Something has changed.
