Winter Solstice
A quiet turning point—Winter Solstice marks the longest night and the first slow incline toward returning light. It is a time for reflection and intentional stillness, when inner landscapes align with the seasonal pause. In my work, the solstice becomes a motif of quiet illumination—layers of texture and muted color that evoke roots sinking deeper and the subtle promise of thaw. Here, darkness is not absence but fertile pause, a patient space where meaning and warmth begin to gather momentum toward a gentle reawakening.
